Birthing From Within Kent

Trustees made a  grant of £250 to Birthing within Kent for materials. As a community, Birthing From Within Kent was 3 years old in Spring 2017. They've supported over 50 families each year and over 100 families in total.  More than 30 babies have been born to mums who have received their antenatal support.  Their service is affordable (thanks to local grants) and supports family emotional wellbeing.  They seek to support the family unit through this significant time of change in groups or 1:1.  Rather than trying to be experts who provide answers and fix things, they provide space and time and strategies to help mums discover things for themselves.
