“The opportunity to support young people in Medway via Richard Watts funding is invaluable and we are thankful to champion this in our local schools.” Rebecca Smith, Children & Young Person’s Manager, North Kent Mind

Along with the award to Breathing Space based in Rochester, who provide one-to-one counselling for young people, it brings the total 2022 RWC funding award for mental health support to £40,000.

Grant Awarded to Action for Borstal Community (ABC)

Trustees awarded £415 to Action for Borstal Community to help pay for their annual pre-school summer coach trip to Wingham Wildlife Park. The award means that ABC don’t need to charge parents for the trip and it remains accessible to all the children involved.
