Grants made to local organisations

A variety of grants were made, £4,000 to the Strood Community Project for a range of things from IT and security equipment to ceiling repairs, £1,300 to Warren Wood School to help fund 13 students from within ME1 and ME2 to go on a residential trip in November and £5,326 to the Prince's Trust for one student to attend the Fairbridge Programme for a year and for others to attend the initial Access course at Chatham.

New Website

This month we launch our new website which has increased emphasis on the services we provide the people living in ME1 and ME2.  Designed and produced by Logitex IT Solutions, the website includes three videos produced by Nick Etteridge and Roisin O’Connor from Mindbicycle.  They have produced a 360° view of The Six Poor Travellers’ House, some beautiful eye in the sky filming of the almshouse premises in Rochester using drone technology and face to face interviews with existing residents talking about life at Watts.
